1 DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA

Depart from the romantic coastal town of Essaouira, a charming, centuries-old oldporttown on the Alantic coast known for its beaches, modern art, traditional crafts ans a unique mix of architectural styles. Essaouira is a typical Portuguese port portraying influences of both Moorish and Portuguese design. In the afternoon we will return to Marrakech, where we will end our service.

Departure at 8 in the morning. After about 3 hours, you reach the old port of Mogador, built by the Portuguese on a narrow peninsula next to an immense crescent of fine sand. Perfectly sheltered by its impressive walls of French construction from the 18th century, the city is largely pedestrian and is divided into different neighborhoods by its grid-shaped design. From the top of the Skala you can see the colorful fishing port, forts and Spanish cannons. Essaouira is also famous for its refined craftsmanship, especially wooden objects (tuya) interspersed with lemon wood, ebony, mother-of-pearl or copper or silver threads. If you like fish, you will enjoy a tasty meal in the port. Afternoon return to Marrakech
