3 DAYS FROM FEZ DESERT MARRAKECH

Fez will be our starting point towards Merzouga. On the way you pass through Ifrane. Small mountainous city with European style and cold climate all year round; hence its name «Switzerland of Morocco.» Then, we will visit the city of Azrou located in the middle Atlas and whose population is of Amazigh origin. Its economy is based entirely on wood and carpets that reflect the Amazigh culture. Azrou is really not known other than the cedar forests that surround it and the monkeys that live there. Since it is a very attractive place for both national and international tourists. Later, we will have lunch in the town of Zaida. We will continue through the Atlas Mountains, Midelt, the small town of Rich, Erfoud, and Merzouga. Once there, we will ride camels heading towards the dunes where we will spend a whole night between. It will be an unforgettable experience to spend the entire night in the Berber tent, enjoying a delicious dinner and traditional music.

On the second day of the trip, it is advisable to wake up early to be able to witness the wonderful sunrise over the Sand dunes. Then, we will depart via Ouardazate; crossing the T’ichka pass, 2,260m high. We will stop at the Todra Gorges, Dades, the Valley of Roses, Skoura. At night we will arrive in Ouarzazate and stay there.

Heading towards Marrakech, we will pass through the ancient fortified town of Ait Ben HAddou, declared a World Heritage Site and very famous in the cinematographic world for the famous films filmed there such as Gladiator. Later, we will cross the majestic Atlas Mountains and the 2260 m Tizi -n- Tichka pass, where we can contemplate wonderful views of the valleys, mountains and Berber villages. We will arrive in Marrakech at night.
